Workshop dates in 2008 for Parents of Allergic Children will be announced soon.
The Workshops take place at St Thomas’s Hospital, London, led by consultants and specialist nurses from the Children’s Allergy Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. In addition to informative talks, the Workshop includes interactive discussion of parents’ specific questions.
These Workshops were introduced with a pilot series of three: the first devoted to Food Allergy, the second to Eczema (both held in November 2007) and the third focused on Asthma (in January 2008).
Some of the written comments from parents who attended:
"Excellent content." <> "Very good, it is really good that these sessions are being run."<> "I thought the workshop was well worth attending and the agenda managed to provide for a wide audience whether the parent had a very young allergic child or an older one." <> "Helpful and informative - would have loved access to something like this 7 years ago." <> "Very informative for parents new to allergies." <> "Thank you for running this workshop."
